  • Hello from the Twitch team!

    It'd be helpful in diagnosing the issue if you could try launching the game manually to see if that works.

    The game should be located in:
    <GamesLibrary>\600505cc-de2f-4b99-9960-c47ee5d23f04

    For example:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Twitch\Games Library\600505cc-de2f-4b99-9960-c47ee5d23f04

    There should be a "BreakawayLauncher.exe"

    Thanks!

    @ags_nr
    Some users reported that changing the windows language to english helps them bypa* s the issue. We're working on a fix right now for this issue.

  • So I uninstalled everything, Twitch App and Breakaway, however I still had the Breakaway folder within my Games Directory, so I deleted that - reinstalled everything, then I ran AntiCheatSetup and found that when I selected Breakaway from the dropdown that the uninstall prompt was grayed out. After installing AntiCheatSetup I launched from the Twitch App with no problems.

    I was up until 5am CEST with one of the engineers troubleshooting but after I reinstalled everything seemed to work perfectly.

  • I got it fixed thanks to @yasserr23

    he asked in what language my windows was and i answered dutch, as he said that that might be the problem. i took the time to change my windows to the english (us) version
    https://www.howtogeek.com/232659/how-to-change-the-display-language-in-windows-10/
    after this guide the game started up. unfortunatly the servers are now offline and i don't have alpha key XD but for now i can start up the game and listen to the music.

    hope it also works for you guys ^^
